The point of view that my book is told from is third person omniscient. This helps me understand what is happening because it is easier to follow along in the book and I know why the take the actions they do. Like when the girls don't tell anyone that Ian visited Spencer because that could get Spencer in trouble.

"Even in figure skating, half an inch can be covered up. But if you hit your head on the edge, a tiny half inch of sharp white board, and if you hit it just right like I did, you die." This reveals specific aspects of the character because its shows that she is a figure skater and that she has passed. This propels the action of the story because we will probably learn how she died and what happens next.
