Wow. There are a few books that have improved greatly over time -- books I felt neutral or unexcited about from high school or college that have undergone magical transformations and turned into Literature with a Capital L. "The Great Gatsby" is one of them. I never saw the lyricism and luminous quality of the prose when I read it the first time; now I'm gobsmacked by it. Wow. Just "wow."
