The story is told in a witty, ironic, and upbeat manner. I appreciate the good pace for events unfolding. The exchanges between characters are very often funny, using plenty of sarcasm.

There are moments when the main characters are in danger, but I could not take it seriously enough to actually be scared for them. The slightly absurd tone of the narrative made me roll my eyes rather than cringe in apprehension.
