have looked through this, now starting to read it cover to cover. Very entertaining and the (not fake meat) recipes look delicious. Have a wonderful organic vegan Mexican local restaurant but this encompasses all the cuisines of Latin America. Yum!

Almost done. Love her, the food looks delicious, but too labor intensive for me. Can't decide on my next novel so will start another cookbook when I'm through with this one. Have several novels from which to choose. Hmm.

Yum! Lots of delicious looking, but a tad labor intensive, recipes, and an interesting book to read by a very likable chef.

I really like her. Too many faux meat dishes but most of the others look delicious. Looking forward to the rest of this book.

I can't seem to get into Swallows and Amazons or Finn Family Moomintroll so I'll start this, and Betsy and Joe when I pick it up from the library tomorrow. Thank you Goodreads for listening and for (at least temporarily) giving back our page number progress on the right side of the home page!!!

Too much seitan, tempeh, etc. for me, and too many unusual (for me) ingredients. But, I figure all recipes are adaptable. And she's just great, loved the books she's co-written and this is her first alone, I think.
And all Latin cuisines.
And she's very personable so this is fun to read. Yum! I'll let you know when I've finished it.
You should check your library. When I search for books the Toronto library almost always comes up as having the book for hard to find books. Then, if you like it well enough, you can buy it.
I want to finish my novel and start another. And have to do so much this weekend, but maybe I'll try to finish it. A friend is coming in for a week on the 1st and I'll have less time to read.
Working on another cookbook too!: Vegan on the Cheap: Great Recipes and Simple Strategies that Save You Time and Money.
Lee, The Unit got to me on such a deep level; I did love it!! I'll be interested to hear what you have to say when you've finished it. Of course, I have so many jumbled thoughts about all these books, and then I get into book group and barely say anything. I't partly because everyone else is so articulate and I don't always feel I have anything brilliant to add.
