People were trying to communicate with anyone that was above impact at the North Tower. They didn’t hear anything, so they are assuming that they are not alive. I think that they need to try harder because if there is a chance that someone is alive, they should try to help them.

In the North Tower, people that were below or above the level of impact were trying to figure out how to get out of the building. It must have been hard to figure out what to do, especially if you were above the level of impact because it would be hard to evacuate the building.

Would you be willing to be a fire warden and help people out in case of an emergency? Why?

If you knew that you were about to die, what is one thing that you would want to do?

I am annoyed with the people that don’t want to evacuate the building. I understand that they don’t know or think that another plane will hit the second tower, but it is always better to be safe than sorry.

How would you react if you were trying to get people to evacuate a building after an explosion, but they weren’t taking you seriously?

After the bombing in 1993, the World Trade Center was a bit more prepared for terrorist attacks. They had fire wardens that would help people evacuate in an emergency. However, most people in the south tower didn’t listen and decided to stay because they didn’t think that they were in danger.

What effects has 9/11 had on the world?

How would you react if you felt the building shake? Would you want to get out or just ignore it?

The book starts by talking about all of the different people that has come to the towers that morning for various reasons. It’s sad to think that they had no idea what was happening and it was most likely just a normal day for them when they woke up.
