Prompted to start reading this again by watching "Cromwell" last night, in which Rupert plays an oddly truncated role (it's as if there was more to the character which was cut from an already over-long film, especially in his final scene with the King where it's strongly suggested that Charles is being unjust, but we never learn the upshot)
