Very well explained. You can see the events leading up to the feud, why it happened, events that exacerbated it, and at which point the focus changed from cattle to revenge.

Things started to get a bit confusing. It seems there was a Mason County mob AND a Llano County Mob. It wasn't until chapter 11 that the Llano mob is introduced and starts to play more of a role, although they were probably involved in some murders in 1875.
