Final stretch... the only reason I'm going slow now is because I went on a camping trip.

I want the bad guys to win. No, the other bad guys. No, not those ones either, the others. No... no... nope... Yeah, THOSE bad guys. Wait, they are the good guys? Okay, that makes sense then.

I'm actually enjoying this quite a bit now. But it feels really looooooong.

Thank goodness we got back onto the main storyline... if there *is* a main storyline.

Now I remember why I stopped reading the first time round.

This is waaaay more fun when someone else has already sorted out all the characters and who is who and given them different voices to help me work out what is going on.

I'm not sure I'm going to finish this. The story isn't grabbing me, and I know the story continues for another 11 books after this one ends. Also, how can I care about characters dying when they can be brought back to life by gods on a whim? I mean, there's a lot more going on, but that is one of many silly annoying things for me.

This starts with one of the most epic magic battles I've ever read. And who I thought was the main character is already dead. Where can it go from here?
