How come the author comment on an entire community as being effeminate? This is derogatory and off putting.
The problem is that he says this through a main character. Now, I don't know whether it is the opinion of the character or the author. Either way it is upsetting. I might not continue with this book for long.

Why does the author say the Nagas have deformities? Why can't they be different just like all the people in fantasy books are. This sounds like this is written with a conservative audience in mind.
