Ah! I feel much better now haha. I usually read 2-3 books at a time. I’m the kind of reader who has to be in a certain mood for any particular book.
I read at least two at a time. So, I think it's completely normal. But if I start too many at once, I'm afraid I might lose interest in some and they end up in the "worst pile ever", which includes books that are great but I've still left them 200-something pages in, fully meaning to come back to them but never did.

Alas, the eternal dilemma. The *just* right number of books to read at a time.
Have you read the entire Lightbringer series?

I’m usually going between about five at a time, and always at least one paper, one e-book and one audio book. The rest I tend to either read a bit here and there, or have felt compelled to take a break of unknown length from.
And yes, even though I always forget everything about most thing in my everyday life, I’m quite good at keeping track of what’s happened in what book.
