The book I am reading is a story of a protagonist going on a quest to defeat a monster and save a camp for Greek heroes along with a Satyr friend of his named Grover. Percy Jackson's quest takes him through the Sea of Monsters, or the Bermuda triangle to find an island where the camp's savior and his friend are stranded. He overcomes many challenges on his quest including killing the monstrous cyclops on his journey.

Percy Jackson, The Sea of Monsters is an urban low fantasy book. The book takes place in modern day New York, and its surrounding areas. As the book progresses it introduces more and more of Greek mythology as the story progresses.
