I'm starting think these Greek gods were kind of jerks.

It took me a year to finish this short book, but finally I did it and it was worth it. My only complaints are that it misses Daedalus' myth (one of my personal faves) and King Minos and the Minotaur. Can't have every myth I guess.
Also he really messed up Eros and Psyche's ending. I will always thank for kindling my fascinating with Greco-Roman myths.

This book has literally taken me 2 years to read because it's an anthology; I have no desire to read this outside of the times where I really want to drift off into sleep with light reading.
However this is cementing my love for Greek mythology. Highly recommend

Officially a Health Science Major now :)
Bless this book for keeping me sane in-between breaks. Will continue to read because it is able to tell the Greek mythos I enjoy without dumbing it down too much (with the exception of Eros and Psyche, it didn't tell half the stuff in the story)

I don't recall a time in my life where I have ever been this busy - have barely had any time to sleep let alone read a book.
However, picked this up again in-between breaks, after a year, after putting it down in favor of other things. I love Greek mythology still and this tells it in a way that is digestible and fun.

Not a book I'm going to be binge reading, but rather some light reading to keep me occupied as I leave for 3 weeks without internet. That Greco-Roman mythology class I took seriously ignited my interest for mythology, and so far this has been a great, tongue-in-cheek retelling of the brutally weird myths.
