What I think will happen in Brian's return is that he will go out into the wild for a week or two and then get injured very badly. Either by a bear of something. I infer that because it is very dangerous out in the wild and anything can happen. One false step and you lose your life.

A particular line of dialog that reveals aspects of a character is when Brian quoted "The wild is my home." This shows that Brian is very brave and enjoys the outdoors. This also shows that living in the wild for six months alone can change a person from living in civilization to be more comfortable living in the wild. The wild is his happy place.
