The feeling/ mood of this book is hope & misery. I think this because the future this book takes place in is pretty bad. There is a global famine, countless resource wars, & an energy crisis. However, it's hopeful because the main character Wade Watts & other gamers are trying to solve a puzzle in the OASIS with a 240 billion dollar reward.

One question I'd ask the main character is if he has ever traveled anywhere outside of his hideout/ home stack.

The character's personality hasn't really changed that much however, his social status practically has. At the beginning of the story, he was a random nerd who loved anything retro. But now, he has found a key to one of the biggest puzzles in the OASIS & has the highest score which means that anyone who uses the OASIS will see the main character's username.

I wouldn't want to switch lives with the main character because even though he will probably earn 240 billion dollars, the future looks really tough to grow up in. And even then, I will mostly likely live to 2045. Another reason why not is because his parents are abusive and he lives in a trailer stack.

I would want the main character to be my friends because he is interested in the same stuff I am (kind of). The main character is also living in the future & can explain some stuff that has happened.

One prediction I can make about the main character, Wade Watts is that he and another person trying to solve the puzzle Art3mis will team together & find the next key. On page 91 it says "Regardless, you're a fellow gunter. And a clever one too...So, I want you to know that I respect you, and acknowledge your skills." One inference I can make is that Wade is happy he found the copper key.

One inference I can make about the main character oft he story: Wade Watts is that he will be able to defeat the demi-lich. On page 78 is says: "As I continued deeper in the tomb, I obtained several magic items along the ways. A +1 Flaming Sword. A Gem of seeing. A +1 Ring of Protection. I even found a suit of +3 Full Plate Armor." This quote shows how Wade will most likely defeat the demi-lich.

One inference I can make about Aech from ready player one is that he is just as interested in nerdy topics was the main character Wade Watts. I can infer this because on page 44 Aech says" Swordquest: Earth-world was Atari's unofficial sequel to Adventure. Every gunter worth their salt knows that contest. How much more obvious can it get?" This quote shows how Aexh is just as interested in nerdy topics as Wade.

I predict that in my book, the main character Wade Watts will discover more clues to the puzzle. I predict his because in the story, Wade was able to find a clue with relative ease.

One inference about the main character I can make is that he is a good problem solver. I think this because in the most recent section I read, the main character discovers the Tomb of Horrors which is an important location of the story. In the text it says "I'd don it, I'd actually found the tomb of horrors." This quote shows how the main character is a good problem solver because he found the tomb of horrors.

One problem the main character is that he is extremely poor.
