I think that Ms.Zaffeti herself might like the book because she might enjoy the shocking story.

Yes I would want to be friends with the main character Dita, because I would want to help her deal with the trauma from the Germans and the camps. I would also want to learn more about what it was like in that living hell, from a first hand account.

The quote "It seems astonishing that a woman who speaks several languages would opt to so frequently for the language of silence" (Antonio Iturbe 306). I chose this quote because although I am not a woman I understand this on a personal level because I know a lot but I do not enjoy sharing my knowledge most of the time.

One inference I can make about Rudi Rosenberg from The Librarian of Auschwitz, is that he does and will continue feeling bad about his job and what he does in Auschwitz. I can infer this because "Rudi gazed in horror at the man's contorted face" which shows that Rudi is also horrified about what happens in the death camp.

As readers we can infer that soon either people will be executed or they will stage a rebellion. we know this because people are constantly talking about both of these.

I can infer that the main character, Dita is afraid of what might happen to her and the rest of Block 31, because in The Librarian of Auschwitz it says "what are we going to do?" pg.228. This shows that Dita is worried about the future.

The main character of this book is Dita. I know this because it is told mostly from the first person perspective of her.

The theme in the book so far, is fighting for survival even during harsh times. We know this because constantly throughout the book so far Dita, the main character is constantly doing things to stay alive, as well as help others stay alive. Dita often has to watch out and be carefull as Auschwitz is a very dangerous place and something as simple as a common cold is basically a death sentence as people are mistreated.
