The book got a bit confusing, because the author said that Wilt Chamberlain was being taken out at 94 points with 2:41 to go by a white player (since racism was still prominent throughout sports at that time), but a few sentences later it mentioned Chamberlain in the game scoring 6 more points, giving him 100. I guess someone wasn't fully aware of what they were writing, but anyways it was cool to hear Wilt's story.

I found it interesting that the Lakers won the finals after losing Elgin Baylor. That must of sucked for him.

It was cool that Jerry West was finally able to win a Championship after losing 6 finals in 8 years to the Celtics, but for someone so eager to win, it was quite surprising to hear that he wasn't crazy excited when they won, but instead that he was still processing there dominating performace vs the 76ers.

I haven't read a lot since the last update, so I can't give you too much new context, but in the few pages, I found out that Jerry West was so scared of losing that he started missing every shot and it almost lead to another finals lost. It was also kind of funny when it talked about a player that was extremely skinny and unfit, because he was smoking, so his coach told him to quit smoking, which made him fat.

The experiences that the Boston Celtics players back in the 1950's went through is really entertaining and gives a good perspective of what Basketball was like before the 3-point line. My favorite part of the book so far was when "Big Red" Red Auerbach (coach of the Celtics at the time) punched one of the fans making fun of him after a big win in the finals. I enjoy the formatting of this book and I love Basketball.
