Update 4: "I think we should start over" (Bell 231). I liked this quote because it shows how we can rebuild relationship if both parties wish to because no one wants to break off badly.

Update 3: "Check out these muscles! I'm tough!" (Bell 231). I liked this quote because that's what I always refer to when some people accidentally hit me. It shows that girls can also be as tough as guys as well!!

Update 2: "'No way I am going to let her find out. It might ruin everything'" (Bell 123). This quotes relates to the theme of hiding oneself identity just like the graphic novel American Born Chinese that we are studying on right now. It stood out to me that people do naturally change themselves to fit into society.

I am on page 47 on El Deafo and to be honest, I am still close minded to read this book, however, some parts are fun to read. "I have amazing abilities unknown to everyone" (Bell 43) was the quote that stood out to me because it makes us realize that we all have something special within us.
