I really like this quote because it makes the reader very surprised that Goku was not an ordinary person but he was from another planet and he also has a brother named Raditz that came to earth to tell him about his home planet.

“I would rather be a brainless monkey than a heartless monster" (Toriyama 205). This quote shows that Goku doesn't want to be like his brother and destroy the world. He's different from the other saiyan that we know because he is nicer and although his mission was to destroy the earth, he tried to protect it and sacrifice his life to kill his brother.
