How is it? a GR group I belong to is reading it next month, but I am ambivalent with all the controversy...

So, here’s the deal. The controversy is just BS. Yes, I saw the centerpieces at the book launch via Twitter, with the barbed wire being used. That was very poor taste, I will say so myself. But, that does not in anyway detract from the book in my opinion. I watched a video of her today on YouTube, and she did her research (5 years worth) she did a very good job with this. It seems to me like a lot of angry Latinx people for nothing. If you don’t like it, don’t read it. That is my stance on it.

So far, it’s pretty good!

Gr8, thanks.. I too think the 'backlash' is BS .. just wanted to know if the book itself is worth reading... I have a copy, so will read it and make up my own mind!
