Teresa, the new girl can speak to Thomas with her mind. Also she remembers very important things, like they are part of a special test. Also she got locked up for the night because people didn't understand why she could remember things and speak with her mind. They all slept together because the walls around the glade didn't close, meaning that the greivers could get them(mechanical robot animals).

Thomas became a maze runner and he went into the maze with minho to see if they could find any clues to escape the maze, and they found a cliff that goes down forever. They threw rocks down it and all the sudden one of the rocks disappeared. they got back to the glade to tell everybody and they were shocked. Also they didnt get their weekly supplies in the glade. And the girl who was in a coma woke up.

Thomas had to go to the slammer ( like a jail ) for a day because he went into the maze and left the Glade. After he got released he was being taught to be a runner and find a way out of glade. Thomas could hear the girls voice who arrived in the box a few days ago in his head and she was saying that they were the reasons that everybody was trapped in the glade. Thomas is now tryi g to figure out how this happend

The leaders still havent decided if Thomas should be punished , but there is a person named Gally, and for some reason, he absolutely hates Thomas. Gally said Thomas should be killed so he got in big trouble, but the leaders still havent decided the punishment.

Thomas rescued Alby from the maze and they were the only people to ever come out of the maze alive. He broke a rule by entering the maze so he is in a trial to see what his punishment is or if he gets a punishment. Some of the the grievers think he is a hero for saving alby and that he is alive after being in the maze. Some of the grievers are mad because he broke one of the biggest rules. They havent decided it

After Ben was killed, Alby and Minho went to look for him in the maze, but they were out there longer than they thought, because they were supposed to be back by noon. Later Thomas saw them running, but Minho was dragging Alby to try to escape, but they werent gonna make it so Thomas ran into the maze to try and help but when he got inside the maze walls, they shut. Nobody has survived a night in the maze before.
