Started slow, but Abulhawa’s poetic narrative keeps you at bay, enticing you with the waves of events that, surreal as it may seem, are realities that middle eastern countries are gravely experiencing. It is nothing but death in the midst of their god-given life. I have nothing but tears to shed, and silence to grieve for their fate.
