After being spoiled with strong, likeable heroines by Ms Mayberry, I get this irrational, wedding/baby rabid woman, secretly in love with her best friend since forever (gah, I hate this trope). Ms Mayberry's writing is good, as always, if only that were enough. Smells like a DNF.
