Sarah and John spent all winter break together and Sam was in Illinois with his aunt. After winter break Mark James invites them to a party and when they get there the music is really loud but it's fun so they dance for a hour or so but John can't find Sarah.

The boy wakes up to Henri in the kitchen talking about the magazine about the Mogardorians, Henri gets the address and location of the publisher in Athens, Ohio. Henri goes and as the boy is at a dinner party with Sarah and her family he creates a diversion to get him to leave, he gets a new power and he worries that Henri is dead, so he calls Sam for help.

him and Sarah kiss and walk back together and then the next day they cook and eat and watch a movie then Henri tells him they might have to leave soon.

they go to a halloween party thingy and they go on a ride and they get attacked by the zombies or scarers.

the boy is unlocking his powers and him and henri he a blast to the past. then they go to a halloween parade and dress up bernie kosar in a superman costume.

the boy lets the dog bernie kosar patrol the yard while he showers and then we he has to go to school the dog wants to ride with him. he then goes to school to and finds manure in his locker. after he runs a mile and bernie kosar comes outvof nowhere and runs with him.
