I’ve just recently finished chapter 23 of Fever 1793, and I’m going to be honest, I really didn’t understand after the part Matilda decided to keep Nell and... after that I don’t remember a single bit. I might have to read this chapter again but I think I got to know Mother Smith a much better and more, and what’s Matilda really thinking.
