still early on, but I like the laid back tone of this book on somewhat eclectic matter, or at least an eclectic take on matter we experience all around us. I tend to enjoy "meta" discussions and philosophizing without all the psychobabble and academic trappings, and this book has that in spades so far.

I guess the pictures are a bit grating, as some of the other reviewers have noted. Sort of childish illustrations of concepts that aren't difficult for anyone used to thinking somewhat abstractly (e.g., most adult readers)
