The word “Mistletoe” derives from the old English ‘tān’, meaning ‘twig’ & the Germanic base ‘mix’ (‘mistle’), which means ‘dung’

It means ‘shit on a twig’. The Oxford English Dictionary suggests this may be because ‘the plant is propagated in the excrement of birds’

Rabia Merry Christmas to you all! Even tho there is no Christmas tradition in our culture, there was always most beautiful Christmas greeting cards in our stationary. I loved to collect them like my Leonardo di Caprio cards! LOL
