I’m emotionally devastated right now.
Rukis has written some of the most realistic and complex characters here. The message about revenge is also very interesting.
I just cried. I never do that with books.

So other than the journey up the mountain the first third of this book seems to be character development. I don’t have an issue with that, the title is a good choice considering the paths the characters are taking.

Also there’s a pretty lengthy sex scene, which at first I thought was too much.
Then I realized it written that way because the character hadn’t experienced that kind of intimacy before.
