Kevin has nightmare and says in the next one the dog will get him. Pop is not in his right mind and is trying to get film. Kevin realizes Pop tricked him and asks his dad to go after him.

Pop tries to sell the camera one last time but fails. He ends up thinking about throwing it away but doesn't. Then he locks it in a drawer but sleepwalks and takes a picture with it.

Pop continues to struggle to sell the camera. He is finally realizing that this thing may be real and is not a dog. He thinks it is some sort of demon and thinks he will kill.

Pop tries to sell the camera to a man but he thinks it is a tic. Pop is in disbelief but tries to sell it to some twins thatg like paranormal things. They think the item is too dreadful and do not want any part of it.

They watch the film and frame by frame the dog turns toward the person taking the picture. Pop goes downstairs because they noticed something among the dogs neck and needs a magnifying glass. While Pop is downstairs Kevin thinks about how the dog is getting closer and will come out of the camera.

Kevin takes his father to Pop's shop to talk with Pop. Pop leads them upstairs and tells them to sit down and watch the tape. The tape is of the picture but in flipbook like form.

Pop threatens to tell Mrs.Delevan about the bet Mr.Delevan made if he doesn't help Kevin. Mr.Delevan explains why he owes Pop and how he paid the loan back. He paid it back by working in a mill 8 hours a day and his normal job 8 hours a day, all while keeping this from Mr.Delevan.

Kevin notices something in the picture that looks like the shadow of a man. Pop tells Kevin to take some pictures at a certain time and come back in three days. When Kevin comes back he says he wants to destroy the camera but Pop tells him to wait until Friday.

Pop realizes that the pictures look slightly different each time. He can't quite place it so he brings a big magnifying glass out. He sees a dog a picket fence and a red ball and asks Kevin if he knows the dog.

Kevin asks his favorite teacher who would know more about the camera and he directs him to the local pawn shop owner. The owner looks at the camera says he doesn't have clue and can't take it apart. He then talks about the older 35 year old polaroid and how it works.
