Right now Mr Sir has a big swollen thing on the side of his face. People knew not to say anything but, a boy from another tent asked him what was wrong with his face. Mr Sir got really mad and choked him. I predict that he will find out that he got bitten by the infamous dangerous lizards. He will have to get medical help.

Right now Stanley Yelnats is writing a letter to his parents. He is explaining the horrible camp to his parents. "Camp is hard and challenging. We’ve been running obstacle courses, and have to swim long distances on the lake...” (81). As he writes he sees Zero look at him write. Zero says he doesn’t know how to read or write. Stanley feels bad and says he will teach him.

In the story so far, Stanley the protagonist, has been framed for stealing expensive shoes from an orphanage. What actually happened was the shoes just hit him from the sky. He was sent to camp green lake. The camp is not as nice as the name sounds. The main conflict so far has been a character vs. society conflict because Stanley has been framed by society for stealing.
