I thought the book did a very good job of saying what happened during this tragedy. It showed that many people helped out during this hurricane. This book helped give me an understanding of what happened in new Orleans around this time.

So far through the book they have talked about many tragic things. One thing they have talked about is the people unable to get out because they don't have the money to. I think that the topic in this book is very tragic for all the different situations that come up through the book.
