I wish I could express why this history fascinates me so much. Maybe the modernity of it? It’s still developing, and there’s tangible effects to it, and there’s a huge variety of stories and quality and personalities and backstabbing and cross cultures and commercialism and everything. It’s always been interesting, but even more so now I’m starting to play older games from the 80s and 90s.
