November is taken into a room to be asked a lot of personality questions and skill questions. November was starving and when the worker put a tray of food in front of her, she didn't touch it. She didn't feel that the food was safe to eat because of the fact that they drugged her to get her to the school.

Once November's roommate mentioned that they teach what kinds of poisons there are and how to make them, November became very worried. She asked why there was any need to teach about poisons and she thought that weaponry was more reasonable to teach than poisons. Then she remembered one of the rules that were an-eye for an-eye rule and became even more worried.

November is really excited about this new school now because she thinks it's starting to get interesting. When she was young, her dad used to give her a wooden sword. But now she is in a room surrounded by knives and real swords.

They explain the rules to November, they tell her that if she were ever to cause harm to a student, then it would be eye-for-an-eye and the same thing will happen to her. November also thinks that her father might have gone to this same school as her

she enrolled in a school that was very weird in her opinion.
