My only other experience with Murphy/Hollingsworth art is "Tokyo Ghost," which I enjoyed. Like that, this uses a kind of digital pointillism to add texture to colors. What's new here is the use of Ben-Day dots for shading. So, this is very dot-heavy art. Additionally, Murphy appears to be doing some shading with fingerprints. Weird, but it works.

Notes:
(1) If I rated this based on the first two issues alone, it would be a 5-star book. As it is, things have settled to a still estimable “very good.”
(2) I suspect it's intentional that original Harley Quinn resembles Arleen Sorkin.
(3) Neo Joker's real name is Marian Drews, which like Harley Quinn is a pun. Merry Andrews is a type of clown.

A few things:
(1) I've always felt Timothy Dalton was a far superior James Bond than Pierce Brosnan, an opinion apparently shared with Sean Murphy. Bruce's license plate is DALTN007, in a scene where he knocks out an annoying fop named Pierce.
(2) Baby Doll and Roxy Rocket are in this! They’d previously only been in "Batman: The Animated Series."

My reasons for choosing this book are simple. Firstly, I'm coming off a pretty awful and tiresome book, and I need a shot in the arm: something more or less guaranteed to be good. Secondly, I bit off more than I can chew by extending by reading challenge, so I also need something fairly short to make finishing said challenge a realistic endeavor.
