I have sort of lost patience with this one for the time being and now I am becoming superstitious. My current love interest lent me this book the second time we met and I have yet to finish it despite being a fast reader. I am now starting to wonder if there isn't some portentuous magic to this - perhaps the relationship won't survive me finishing the book, a great excuse for not finishing it
