The animals have overthrown Manor Farm and have turned it into a place that fosters their ideology, Animalism, which promotes radical individualism and diminishes totalitarianism. Everything seems to be falling into place, with all of the animals finding positions of use and uniting over this flaming idealism, except even the pigs of heightened intelligence seem to neglect the hierarchy that animalism will bring.

I haven’t read more than the preface, but this section brings light to the historical significance of this book. I’m interested to learn more about political events and to experience the implications in the book along with researching them.
