I suspected there would be child abuse described in this book. I persevered because the story was really interesting and otherwise unpredictable. I’m just not sure I want to continue now it’s becoming explicit. I read for pleasure, entertainment and education, and at the moment it’s just not ticking those boxes. Let me know if anyone thinks I should continue despite this ick feeling.
