The twins escape dee and now they are in Paris where there are more people to help teach and awake the twin's power.

Foreshadowing, that the end is just beginning implying that if they die that josh and Sophie will take their place and the cycle will continue.

Sophie gets new powers dee to try turning josh to his side and dee raises the dead to try and kill Nicholas.
Conflict josh learning about Nicholas's past.

Nicholas found out that the grandma has a lot more power than he expected and has to be careful when speaking to her.

Flat character- The grandma all we know is that she is powerful

The twins have escaped and now josh is jealous of Sophie because he doesn't have his potential unlocked.

Personification- The world tree has fellings.

Dee destroys the world tree and it takes out Hekate and only Sophie has her magical potential unlocked but not joshs.

Rising action, defeating Hekate and destroying the world tree.

Hekate unlocks sophy's potential but not josh's because dee started to burn down the big tree.

Imagery- when she is unlocking sophy's potential.

Hekate is unlocking the twin's potential and her armies are trying to fight off the other army but will not last much longer.

After some convincing Hekate decided that she will unlock their potential.

The twins try to leave the shadow realm but return. Dee awakes the bastet and they plan on attacking the shadow realm.
