Katie's family move to new house. The house colored sky blue with grass yard that Katie's dream house. When Lynn feels better they go to picnic. After ride bicycle, they stop at Mr. Lyndon's property. Sam got ankles from animal trap. Katie run to a house. One neighbor Hank Garvin rescue Sam and take him to hospital. Fortunately Sam's bone does not broken. I really worried about Sam when I reading a book.

This chapter was really impress to me. Now Lynn is gone from the earth. It makes Katie grow up. She learns real life. Now Katie taking care of her family without Lynn's help. Katie makes her parents feel better. Katie gets A on exam. Now Katie makes B in her grade. Katie's family go to California. It was Lynn's wish that she wants. Katie go to see and understand meaning of Kira-Kira.

Katie's family stay in Georgia really well. Lynn loves her school. However Katie has problem. Lynn always stay with Katie after school. Lynn stay with Amber her best friend in school. I know how Katie feels. I had that experience when I was young. I want to play with my sister after school. She said she wants to playing with her sister. I felt so sad and lonely. Katie feels same as me.

Kira-Kira means glittering in Japanese. Katie is a little girl and Lynn is an older sister. Lynn is smart kid. Katie always call "Kira-Kira" when she see something a special.
