I'm not in love with the world building to be honest. It seems like things are thrown around without any background or explanation. But I might be reading this book waaaay out of order. It's a bit hard to decide that though because I have heard so many different reading orders that it was hard for me to decide. That combined with my library not having the second short story collection. I love the characters though!

Okay why does Geralt have like 4 unfinished missions at once? But at the same time it's all a reaction to the first mission? This is making me a bit confused.

I have read the sentence "Geralt made no comment" way too many times these last couple of chapters. I like the book so far but the stakes seems quite small at the moment. But it might pick up soon. Loving the humor.
