It's getting off to a way better start than Twilight. I'm loving the saga. It's pissing me off right now but things will get better!

I'm so glad Alice came to visit Bella so she could get her emotions out in the open.

I like the dynamics of New Moon. But when Bella is depressed i was depressed too. Chapter4-8 were kinda boring. Chapters 9-11 are great.

The first 3 chapters are good. When the Cullens leave and she falls into a deep depression and a there is a blank page for each of the next 4 months that pass. That is a good idea to indicate time passing but what a waste of paper! The next 5 chapters get a little dry and boring, but I feel that because Bella sees no reason for living life to the fullest anymore, that life seems lackluster and Meyer wrote it this way for a reason. It is definetly a low point in Bella's life and in the book. Jacob has become a great friend to Bella, and a distraction at the same time- to fill her void of Edward. It is definetly a more human relationship, they can sit down and have a meal together for example. In the 9th chapter she establishes the boundaries of their relationship and Jacob seems to be a little put off, but is still happy to be friends. Half way through the book (chapter 10 the meadow) is where it is really started to pick up for me and I understand that the book gets better and better through to the end. So I'm past the half way point and Jacob has come to her room to apologize.
