Ok I just don't get this!!! Eva complains to Carter that she wants more talking in their relationship. That they need to work thru some things. So he keeps asking her to talk and now she says she's too tired and needs to go to bed!!! WTF?! He needs to drop her!

I'm so up and down with this book. One minute I don't mind her then the next, she drives me nuts and I can't understand what he sees in her!!
Well, I think many of the best heroes have been paired with annoying heroines…. In the end I had mixed feelings about her. It was Carter who kept me going!!!!
Yes you are right. This seems to be my biggest peeve...an annoying heroin!!!! It's always the hot guy that keeps us going! If only they had us right?! Lol
Sometimes there might be a reason, like the author wants to illustrate the lengths the hero is willing to go to get or appease her, BUT it usually does nothing to explain what he sees in her in the first place ; )
Haha yes!!! You nailed it!!! So true. I understand what the author is trying to do, but they lose sight of the fact that the heroin actually has to come across as likable. We have to get that she is special and he actually likes her personality more than any other girl. I think the author loses sight of that sometimes.
So true, which is kind of why I never bother with any heroine shelves – there are so few worth remembering!
