The result of locking up Frank was shocked for me but I also knew that will happen and some point. I think this scenario shows the questioning about real justice and telling about the fact of the real world. Also, I feel afraid that how could environment can effect on kid's mindset.

During the reading, I start to think about the contradictory of the law and justice. Because of the time set, It couldn't really prove that Frank murdered Marie. However, even Wes holds his mind and tries to make the best choice he could make for Frank, Grandfather doesn't try to understand that and indirectly shows that he chose Wes as a sheriff because he was easy to control for him.

At the beginning of the chapter, my major interest in the story was how Wes will react to Marie's Death. From the reader's point of view, I could easily predict that Frank is related to the conversation. Also, during the story, I could find that David tries to know the world is easily working out and easy to make a solution. However, David is now want to refuse this situation and thinking about how could he avoid it.

As I predicted grandfather doesn't really suggest the answer and also he was mad about the fact that Wes tries to make an issue about Frank. From this conversation, I could know about the fact that Wes is struggling with his position and also having a hard time with it.

During chapter two David and Wes are showing their own conflict and that is shown during the drive and grandfather's ranch house. David keeps struggling because of Uncle Frank and Marrie. Also, David trying to keep believe that his grandfather will solve the problem. However, Wes shows the behave that he tries to fix this situation. I predict that base on the story grandfather will not a solution to this problem.

Reading Chapter 2 of Montana 1948 gives me really interesting information and a key point for the problem of uncle Frank. David's mother is worried about the Marrie because of the fact that she heard about Frank molested the Indian girls. Also, I could find the internal conflict of Wes because of his position as sheriff and the position of David's brother.

The reading explains to me how David is thinking about uncle Frank. Also, I could find that David's mom feels the weirdness of uncle. I predict that there will be some problem will occur to Marrie because of Uncle Frank. Also, I get curious in David's mindset toward uncle Frank.

However, the other thing that makes me care about uncle Frank is the reaction that Marie shows the behavior that makes me think she is trying to avoid uncle Frank. I believe there will be other reasons.
