Life is all about adjusting to external circumstances. π
Also, Leyna, and I'm only chiming in because my friend Elena did -my guess is that if you ended up on Goodreads, you love reading. You love books. Enjoy that. It's a precious thing and IMHO the last thing that should put pressure on you. There are people who take the challenge because they want bragging rights, there are people who take it because they love reading but want to have a reason to carve that time out of their lives. Me, I took the challenge mainly because I wanted GR to stop nagging me about it.But really. Enjoy reading. That's the main thing. Sometimes pesky Real Life matters interfere. It happens. Eh. So what. Enjoy reading.

It's your challenge, you can do whatever you want with it. :) Or maybe read some short stories.

Thanks, girls :*I'm not obsessed with my challenge. Believe me, I'm really not. I'm just sad because it shows how real life is getting in the way :(
