The author created a frightening mood at the end of chapter four. It was Sadie's birthday so she went to visit her grandparents but she finds their place empty. "The living room was dark and empty. The stairwell light was off, which Gran will never allow..."(66). This created a spooky mood and I thought of this as a foreshadowing for big event to take place. I thought that Rick Riordan has a very special way of telling the story. He writes it where the story get switched point of view. For example one chapter will be Carter telling the story, then, the next chapter will be Sadie telling the story. This way the reader gets to know how both siblings feel but no one else.The author's way of writing made it more easier to understand the plot of the story.

Even thought I am only a few chapters into the book, I know that Jaz is a person that is dependable and can be trusted on. In the story, Walt gets harmed due to these spirits so Jaz sacrifice must of her own energy to save his life. Not only that, she healed every person that she can get to at the wedding every though if it meant putting her life in danger. In the book, she says"There is no time, they will die...
