I mean, I'm just saying, DO the characters know best?? Or should the author say "NOPE THIS AIN'T HAPPENING" because I really didn't want to deal with such a heavy topic as this "plot twist" requires.

I just made the decision to cut something huge that wasn't good, and rework the whole book of one of my sequels. So I definitely agree with you............... ;) It didn't fit the characters' personalities, anyway.
