The group of antagonists are the villains inside of the Holiday House. They are Rictus, Mr. Hood and the other monsters. They all want to capture kids and keep them forever, like how they did to Harvey. The house is full of magic that keeps the kids interested in staying longer. Harvey is fighting against society.

The unsympathetic character of the story is Rictus. He is unsympathetic because he persuaded Harvey into going to the Holiday House. This made Harvey not know what was going on. Rictus shouldn’t have taken Harvey away from his normal life.
