unfortunately the first story was the only one that really hit with excellence

the rest just feel like well-written story ideas

ohhhhh this one is from her Carve the Mark series

I thought the name Shotet was familiar like something I'd read before xD

k but mood when I was at the one funeral that mattered the most me personally

I am chuckling a little over how darn innocent Roth has made the teens in her story

they're going to prom and, like, everything sexual is overtly side-stepped

not exactly complaining, but the lack of any of this normal aspect of teens (heck even quite ace me) seems a bit awkward

'And then it all came back in a rush, that breathless feeling when all the expectations and hopes and fears formed over years were balanced on a knife's edge. When you had loved something for so long and for so many reasons that all you wanted was for that love to expand inside you.'
