Right now I'm on page 263 and i feel it is a very emotional part for Emile because she is figuring out her past and who are her real friends and who actually loves her for her.i feel this is the reason why the author put Aislabie in the book to be the deceiving husband that's the problem in the book and gives the book a purpose.

I'm on page 89 and as of right now Emilie is angry with the fact that her father died and no one told her about it. i think the author is trying to show the bond of a father and a daughter even though their relationship was cutoff. I infer she will find her fathers book that had all the notes about her life and start teaching herself alchemy that her father wanted her to learn.
