I just . . . kinda hate this book??

all right I came only for the guard-romance trope WHICH REALLY ISN'T AROUND MUCH

I didn't ask for all these POV's and a plot that barely interests me

ugh I'm sorry but this whole obvious growing romance between March and Edyon is silly and cliche and is annoying to me

hey Edyon maybe someone would like you if you'd stop going on about their eyes and maybe about who they are as a person?? cause so far you're coming off as a surface-only dude and that ain't cool

"I want to conquer the people not as my father would, with swords and spears, but with a dress and a flower."

Tash, Catherine, and possibly Ambrose are the only stories worth my time here

the rest are ridiculously boring and seem unnecessary so far

okay well finally things are getting a wee bit interesting

okay what even was the point of this chapter??

Holywell sucks and I hope March realizes this
