Excited to get to the stories with a little more depth because I feel I would have really enjoyed this a lot more if the concept was developed, and things were left a lot less vague.

The Doom That Came To Sarnath - this is what I expected when I came into this journey (which will take years at the pace I'm going).

Humanity doing bad things to things they don't understand, bad things they don't understand happen to them.

The Street - This one didn't really leave much of an impression on me.

The White Ship - Basil Elton pushes his luck, and instead of maintaining his lighthouse, decides to push his luck and go on a dream-like voyage to islands that he's not good enough for.

I had fun with this one, and I think the message is a lot clearer than the stories before; be happy with what you got because Cathuria (hope) just ends in a shipwreck.

The Transition of Juan Romero - Like many of these shorter Lovercraft stories, they come and go without being too interesting or engaging.

I think the absence of detail or any exposition about the abyss prevents me from enjoying this one.

Old Bugs - not good, "don't drink" is the story.

Memory - oh, okay then - I have you know Daemon, we made phones; that's kind of memorable!

Beyond the Wall of Sleep - Always interested in a story about the existence of dreams, but this mainly made me wonder how Lovecraft would have perceived mental illness when writing it.

Polaris - Liked this one a lot: the whole concept of alternate realities inside dreams is really engaging
